DETROIT -- After a brief paternity leave, right fielder Michael Saunders resumed his rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.
"He'll play tonight and hopefully the next two or three nights," Seattle manager Lloyd McClendon said Friday. "We'll reevaluate and see where he is."
Entering Friday, in five games of rehab with Tacoma, Saunders was hitting .353 with an on-base percentage of .542.
