Robinson Cano Bobblehead Night Saturday at Safeco Field

The first bobblehead giveaway of the Seattle Mariners 2014 season is Saturday, May 31. The first 20,000 fans through the gates of Safeco Field will receive Robinson Cano bobbleheads, courtesy of ROOT SPORTS. Fans are strongly urged to arrive early to give themselves plenty of time to pass through metal detectors at all ballpark entrances.

Gates to Safeco Field are scheduled to open at 5:10pm for the 7:10pm start. Fans can expect to encounter long lines with attendance projected to be over 30,000. There will also be volunteers outside the gates of the ballpark collecting donations for Northwest Harvest for Fight Hunger Night.

In order to speed entry through metal detectors, fans are encouraged to remove all metal objects from their pockets before they get to ballpark gates. This includes cellphones and keys. Being prepared in advance will speed the entry process and help reduce long waits outside the ballpark.

Tickets for the series against the Detroit Tigers, which starts tonight, and all remaining games on the Mariners 2014 schedule, are available without a service charge at the Safeco Field Box Office and Seattle Mariners Team Stores. They're also available at mariners.com, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers and by phone at 1-888-SEA-HITS (service charges apply).
