TORONTO -- Ichiro Suzuki went hitless for the second consecutive game in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays, the Mariners' third consecutive loss. It marked the first time in 181 games that Ichiro had back-to-back hitless games.
He was 0-for-3 on Saturday afternoon before being ejected for the first time in his professional career, and went 0-for-4 on Sunday. He also was hit by a pitch.
It was the longest streak in the big leagues since Doc Cramer (191 games) in 1934-35.
