Mariners announce spring training roster moves


PEORIA, Ariz. -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves at the Mariners Major League spring camp Wednesday.

Optioned to AAA TACOMA (1):

Right-handed Pitcher (1):  Erasmo Ramirez

Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp (1):

Right-handed Pitcher (1):  Jeremy Bonderman

With the moves made today, Seattle's five starting pitchers are set. They are (in alphabetical order) Blake Beavan, Felix Hernandez, Hisashi Iwakuma, Brandon Maurer and Joe Saunders.

Today's roster moves leave the Mariners with 30 players in their Major League camp: 26 roster players, 4 non-roster invitees and one player on the 60-day DL.
