Mariners announce first group of Spring Training roster moves


PEORIA, Ariz. -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves at the Mariners Major League spring camp on Sunday.

Optioned to AAA TACOMA (1):

Right-Handed Pitcher (1): Chance Ruffin

Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp (3):

Left-Handed Pitcher (1): Brian Moran

Right-Handed Pitchers (2): Jonathan Arias, D.J. Mitchell 

Today's roster moves leave the Mariners with 57 players in their Major League camp: 39 roster players and 18 non-roster invitees.
