The Mariners sent left-hander Erik Bedard and catcher Adam Moore on rehab assignments Monday.
Bedard has been out of action all year while recovering from left shoulder surgery, but he's scheduled to start for the Arizona League Mariners on Monday night in their game against the AZL Rangers at Surprise Stadium.
The 31-year-old had season-ending surgery to repair an inflamed bursa and torn labrum on Aug. 14, 2009. With the Mariners the past two years, Bedard went 11-7 with a 3.24 ERA in 30 starts.
Moore, who will report to Triple-A Tacoma, has been on the disabled list since May 16 with a sublexed left fibula. In 19 games, he was batting .193 (11-for-57).
